1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened (don’t melt it, don’t melt it, don’t melt it)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (or three cups or four depending on how much you like chocolate) of chocolate chip cookies
(I’m sure you can at loooove into them as well, but you know, sometimes, chocolate is all you need).
Preheat oven to 375° F. When that is done, take a deep breath because man you just WORKED that oven. Pat on the back, right there.
Now combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl like a BAMF. Wait, that’s you always. (Not a good enough use of the word always?)
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy (really not going to make a joke using the word creamy, but its hard)
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat it, just beat it
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Then add the chocolate chips. Just pour them in there. Yeah, like that.
Now get a large spoon and scoop those suckers onto a cookie sheet. Put them in your oven for about 9 minutes. Watch them like a hawk. Stare those puppies down and when they are slightly golden brown out the outside whip them out of the oven (carefully, cautiously so as to not burn your lovely skin). They may look sliiiiightly underdone, don’t fret, it will be okay. Now, if they look really underdone or raw, pop them back in for another minute or so.
